An end to The War?

On April the third, war broke out between the nations of Hagston and Kaonashia, over a political position dispute in the lead up to the Laraniem Deputy Viceroy elections.

By the 17th of May, Koxor and Matthuvan Union had joined the conflict against Kaonashia, while Dogeanea did the opposite.

With 5 nations involved, the war was no joke. The next day, Koxor ordered an attack on Kaonashia, soon followed by Dogeanea's withdrawal.

After months of non-stop battle and countless deaths and destruction, the war has come to a halt. Experts are divided on one question. Will this be the end of the war?

Let's ask our War Analyst, Jamodo McGee

Do you believe this war will be ending soon as a result of the truce, or will it be broken?

I do not believe that the temporary truce will be enough to end this war, I feel it would need to end with one country being wiped off the face of the earth or conquered [I] think this war will last a while and be equivalent to WW2 in how it has to end.

So how long until Laraniem sees peace?

I would say roughly 3 months though it is hard to say when exactly Kaonashia will end the truce.

So you believe it will be Kaonashia who ends it?

I believe either the peace star or the allies marching through Kaonashia will end it, I believe Kaonashia will end the truce rather soon because all they’re doing is stalling to get some sort of secret weapon made.

Secret weapon? Has there been any word on this?

No official government wording though I have been in Kaonashia and the government is planning something big, there were areas of the city blocked off and military personnel roaming the streets. There is definitely something happening in Koanashia that they will use to break the truce.

Are the good citizens of Laraniem in danger? Possibly, as I said Kaonashia is building some super weapons or maybe gathering a massive army so that they can conquer all of their foes and end this war in their favour. The citizens of the allied countries are definitely in danger. [I] feel a home front will open up soon.

Okay, something we should watch out for. Thank you for your time here today.

Thank you for having me.
